Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• BLS certification on hire or within 30 days.
• Surgical Technologist CST certification (NBSTSA/NCCT) or equivalent per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon before and during procedures and prepare the area.
• Maintain instrument tables and ensure proper setup to prevent damage.
• Count sponges, sharps, and instruments per policy.
• Provide sterile supplies and equipment during surgery as needed.
• Coordinate with the surgical team and central sterile processing.
• Ensure infection control policies and OSHA guidelines are followed.
