Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a Surgical Technician for a full-time, 12-hour day shift. The role supports RN-directed patient care, sets up and maintains the surgical field, and assists the surgeon during procedures.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from a surgical technology program and NBSTSA/NCCT certification, with Ohio practical nurse licensure if applicable. BLS is required. Excellent benefits start on day one.

Qualifications

• Educational requirement for surgical technologist program.
• Certificate of surgical technology (NBSTSA/NCCT) required or equivalent.
• Ohio practical nurse licensure if trained as a practical nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting surgery department goals (room turnover, first-case starts).
• Assist in training/orientation of associates as directed by Clinical Educator.
• Maintain a safe environment for the patient.

Graduate of surgical technology program

Certificate of surgical technology (NBSTSA/NCCT)

Graduate of practical nursing program
