Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Two years of operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with aseptic technique and preparation of supplies and instruments.
• Assists RN circulator in patient prep, instrument setup, and turnover.
• Monitors sterility and proper disposition of specimens; ensures compliance with policies.
• Participates in Performance Improvement and staff education; may serve as a preceptor.
