Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Carolinas Medical Center - Surgery Room in Charlotte, NC. This full-time role offers nights on a 4x10 schedule, with a pay range of $25.30–$37.95 per hour and benefits eligible.

Requires HS diploma, BLS, and graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent military training. Responsibilities include aseptic technique, instrument handling, room turnover, sterility monitoring, and participation in performance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology required or military training in Surgical Technology/Operating Room Specialist.
• Current certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in aseptic technique and preparation of supplies and instruments.
• Assists RN circulator in patient preparation and room turnover.
• Performs duties per department policy and procedure.
• Monitors sterility and proper use of supplies; documents charges.
