Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Southlake is seeking a Surgical Technologist to scrub for procedures and maintain a sterile field in a multi-specialty ambulatory setting. The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to sterile protocols.

The position is weekday-focused with no holidays, weekends, nights, or on-call shifts, offering growth within a Joint Commission-accredited facility and opportunities to advance in a high-quality surgical environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Completion of Scrub Technician Program; Certification required.
• Two years experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties; HIP/ENT/Ortho experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Supports the Surgery Center's quality improvement activities.
• Participates as a team member in various specialties.

Surgical Technologist Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Southlake

The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Completion of a Scrub Technician Program. Certification required
• Two years experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• ENT and Ortho experience required
• General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room
