USPI is seeking a Surgical Technologist to scrub for procedures and maintain a sterile field in the operating room. You will prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment while supporting quality improvement efforts and coordinating with the surgical team.
The ideal candidate holds CST certification, completed a Surgical Technician program, and has at least one year of experience; ambulatory surgical center experience is strongly preferred.
The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities. Anticipates the needs of the surgical team. Establishes and maintains sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room.
