Job summary

Baylor Surgicare at Oakmont in Texas is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support sterile procedures on the surgical team. The role focuses on scrubbing, maintaining sterile fields, and preparing instruments and supplies for operations.

Join a high-volume ambulatory surgery center with opportunities across ENT, General Surgery, and Orthopedics, while enjoying a weekday-only schedule and no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification as required by state and/or center
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred
• Experience in ENT, General Surgery, Orthopedics preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures as a member of the team

Certified Surgical Technologist at Baylor Surgicare at Oakmont:

The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: ENT, General Surgery, Orthopedics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification as required by state and/or center
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: ENT, General Surgery, Orthopedics, strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
