Cibolo Creek Surgery Center is seeking a Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech to assist in orthopedics and podiatry outpatient procedures. The role requires weekday availability, with potential for early mornings and evenings.
You will scrub, maintain sterile fields, and prepare instruments while supporting quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with a surgical tech program, state-required certification, and preferably prior ambulatory surgery center
We have 3 OR rooms and 1 Treatment room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Orthopedics and Podiatry. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.
The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.
