Certified Surgical Technologist
Surgery Center of Boerne is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist. The center is located just north of San Antonio and has 3 OR rooms and 2 treatment rooms. The role involves outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology, General, and Orthopedics. The position requires weekdays only—no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule is subject to change based on the surgical schedule and daily flow.
The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.
