Vision Innovation Partners is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the operating room team under supervision of surgeons and nurses. You will organize equipment, assist with procedures, maintain sterile fields, and ensure patient safety throughout operations.

The role emphasizes quick thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work calmly in high-pressure environments while upholding accreditation standards and company policies.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Surgical technologist certification and BLS are required.
• Ability to work in a high-volume operating room environment.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and organize operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies for procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon and patient needs during procedures.
• Handle specimens, prepare medications, and assist with dressings.
• Maintain sterile environment and sterile field throughout procedures.
• Move and position patients and equipment safely to prevent injury.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in orientation and education of OR staff regularly.
• Stock and restock medical supplies as needed.
• Inspect, replace, and sterilize instruments as required.
• Provide instruments and equipment to surgeons and patients as needed.
• Maintain a patient-first mindset in care delivery.
