Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Surgical Tech to support operating room readiness and direct patient care across a variety of surgical procedures. You will set up equipment, assist the surgical team, and ensure a sterile environment to promote optimal patient outcomes.

You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff, demonstrating adaptability and a strong team‑player mindset while contributing to patient healing.

Qualifications

• Graduation from ARC‑ST accredited surgical technology program required.
• WA Surgical Technologist Registration required upon hire.
• RN with accreditation may substitute for surgical technology program; WA RN required.
• Basic Life Support – CPR certification through the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and sterile fields for procedures.
• Set up surgical equipment and instruments.
• Assist surgeon and team and maintain sterile technique.
• Position and drape patients as directed.
• Support anesthesia personnel as needed.
