Job summary

Adventist Health Castle in Kailua, HI is seeking a Surgical Technician to assist the operating room team. You will prepare sterile fields, pass instruments, and maintain supplies for procedures in a high-volume setting.

The role requires high school education with preferred associate/technical training and scrub technician experience, plus CPR/BLS certification and HI CST within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Scrub technician experience preferred.
• Operating room experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists surgical team by preparing sterile field and passing instruments.
• Maintains instrument sets and supplies for procedures.
• Transports patients and supports clerical tasks as needed.
• Counts instruments, sponges, and needles with RN according to standards.
• Maintains aseptic technique and labels solutions per policy.
