Job summary

Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley seeks an experienced Surgical Technician to join the MSC Operating Room. You will support sterile preparation, instrument handling, and active involvement with surgeons during procedures to ensure patient safety and efficient care.

Minimum 1 year hospital experience; CST certification preferred; BLS cert required. Schedule is 5/40, with possible on-call rotations; salary is hourly with defined ranges.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as Surgical Technician in a hospital setting.
• Certification as Surgical Technologist is highly preferred.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association is required.
• Completion of a Surgical Technician Program must be verified at application/interview.

Responsibilities

• Arrange sterile setup for procedures; pass instruments, sponges, and sutures to surgeons and nurses.
• Prepare sterile supplies and assist in operating room cleanup.
• Check equipment placement and restock operating room.
• Assist during procedures and monitor aseptic technique throughout surgery.
