Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Technician Program.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Aseptic Techniques.
• Ability to assist the RN and MD and meet patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Arrange sterile setup for procedures; Pass instruments, sponges and sutures to surgeons and team.
• Check equipment placement and operation; restock the operating room.
• During procedures, assist with trays, grafting materials and patient data.
• Verify patient identity and allergies; ensure proper patient safety.
