Job summary

MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center in Laguna Hills, CA is seeking a Surgical Technician II for the Surgery Services department. Qualifications

• Proficient in scrubbing a minimum of 4 specialties.
• 2 years acute care surgical technician experience and CST surgical scrub technician certification required, OR 10 years acute care surgical technician experience.
• Computer, internet, order entry and word processing experience preferred.
• Proficient in medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical assistance in a safe, appropriate and effective manner under RN/MD direction.
• Maintain instruments and aseptic technique; support patient flow within department.
• Communicate with surgical team and supervisory staff during procedures.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure safe patient care delivery and outcomes.
• Demonstrate professionalism, attendance and reliability in daily operations.
