Job summary

Loma Linda University Health is seeking a Surgical Technician 2 for a full-time day shift. The role works under the guidance of circulating RNs and surgeons, coordinating instrumentation and equipment to support procedures across services.

The right candidate will have completed a surgical technician program and at least two years of experience, with BLS and possible certification. Sign-on bonus of $3,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Completion of a surgical technician course required.
• Two years' experience as a surgical technician required.
• Surgical Technician certification preferred; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in coordinating special instrumentation and equipment needs for a service.
• Orders, stocks and maintains appropriate stock levels of supplies and implants.
• Performs duties under guidance of RN and surgeon; provides support as needed.
