Please click here to learn more about our locations.Job DescriptionThe Surgical Technician prepares and assists surgical procedures during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative process.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for providing for and anticipating the surgeons’ needs during a procedure while maintaining the sterile field, adhering to principles of aseptic technique, and ensuring safety with all counted items.Assists preparation for procedures by assisting with completion, wrapping, and processing of instruments in Sterile Processing.Required Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist programCertified Surgical TechnologistBLS certification (or obtained within 3 months of employment)Preferred Qualifications:Minimum of one-year experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care hospital operating roomPediatric and/or orthopaedic experienceThe pay range for this position is $21.74 - $32.62.
