Amergis, a travel healthcare staffing provider in Moreno Valley, CA, is seeking a Surgical Technician to sterilize equipment, arrange instruments, and ensure devices function properly for procedures. This role offers 40-hour weeks with weekly pay in a travel setting.

Applicants should have Surgical Technologist certification where required, CPR, and health certification, with 1 year of experience preferred (Tissue Processing Technologist). Compliance with health and safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist certification as applicable per state and/or client requirement.
• One year experience as a Surgical Technician preferred (Tissue Processing Technologist – only).
• Biology-related degree which includes a degree/certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Sterilization of surgical equipment.

Location: Moreno Valley, CA

The Surgical Technician/Tissue Processing Technician isresponsible for the sterilization of surgical equipment, arrange surgicalequipment and adjust medical tools to ensure that the surgical devices arefunctioning properly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Surgical Technologist certification as applicable per stateand/or client requirement

• One year experience as a Surgical Technician preferred(Tissue Processing Technologist – only)

• Degree in biology related field which includes a degree /certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
