The ideal candidate has current OR experience, is skilled in sterile technique, and familiar with EPIC. Expect call duties and collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgical procedures

• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and anticipating needs
• Support teams during orthopedic, neuro, ENT, ophthalmology, robotics, and spine cases
• Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts accurately
• Ensure instruments are functioning properly and ready for use
• Adhere to infection prevention and patient safety standards
• Document procedures accurately in EPIC
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams to support outcomes

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Experience with:

• Recent Operating Room experience required
• Ability to work 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM day shifts
• Ability to participate in call rotation:
  • 3 to 4 call shifts every 8 weeks
  • Nights, weekends, and holidays included
• Must meet all facility onboarding and credentialing requirements
• EPIC experience must be disclosed upon submission
