The Surgical Technician/Tissue Processing Technician is responsible for sterilization of equipment, arranging surgical supplies, and ensuring devices operate correctly. Minimum requirements include certification, one year of experience, and related education with CPR

Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist certification as applicable per state and/or client requirement.
• One year experience as a Surgical Technician preferred (Tissue Processing Technologist – only).
• Degree in biology related field which includes a degree/certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
