Job summary

Tucson Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Tech for the Ortho/Neuro team in a full-time, day shift role. The position requires at least one year of experience post-graduation from an accredited Surgical Tech program, with a 10K sign-on bonus for 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certificate required. Surgical Technician Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preoperative procedures and instrument handling.
• Scrub and assist surgical team with gowns and gloves.
• Provide instruments, sutures, and supplies during operations.
• Drape patient for procedures.
• Ensure aseptic technique and sterile field maintenance.
• Transport patients as needed, and restock supplies.
