Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ seeks a Surgical Technologist for the Labor & Delivery OR. You scrub, set up, and assist during procedures, ensuring a sterile field and assisting nursing staff as needed.

Requirements include at least 1 year OR training/experience, high school diploma, and BLS; Surgical Technologist Certification is preferred. Per diem, on-site role with comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly rate.

Formación

• One year OR Training or Experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent; Graduate of Surgical Technology Training Program is preferred.
• Training/Certifications/Licensure: BLS; Surgical Technologist Certification preferred; NJ CE compliance where required.

Responsabilidades

• Scrubs for, prepares, sets-up and assists during any surgical procedure and provides support to nursing and ancillary departments by transporting and transferring patients to and between units when necessary.
• Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures.
• Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures.
