Virtua Health’s Labor & Delivery OR is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist in the operating room under RN/Physician supervision. You will handle instruments, supplies, and equipment to maintain a sterile field during procedures.

The role requires at least one year of OR experience, completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program, and BLS certification. Per diem, part-time position with night shifts in Voorhees, NJ, offering competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year OR training or experience.
• BLS certification.
• Surgical Technologist Certification preferred; NJ state license maintenance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for, prepares, sets-up and assists during surgical procedures and transports patients between units.
• Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures.
• Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures.
