Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons during procedures, ensuring the operating room is prepared and sterile. The role involves organizing equipment, sterilizing tools, and maintaining sterile technique throughout the operation.

Experience in Ortho/ Spine and Ophthalmology is preferred; Surgical Tech certification is preferred, but extensive experience may be considered in lieu of certification.

Qualifications

• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by anticipating surgeon needs.
• Prepare and organize the operating room; clean and sterilize equipment; maintain a sterile environment.
• Monitor PAR levels of all surgical instruments and supplies; help with cleaning and sterilizing instruments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the operating room and ensure sterility throughout procedures.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating needs and providing equipment as required.
• Maintain clean and sterile instruments and surfaces; follow sterilization protocols.
