Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains sterile fields for procedures.
• Assists the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies.
• Ensures instrument sterilization, inspection, and assembly.
• Performs sponge, needle, and instrument counts with the circulating nurse.
• Assists in patient positioning, draping, and transfer methods.
• Maintains physician preference cards and supply readiness.
• Cleans, reprocesses, and sterilizes instruments per protocol.
• Supports perioperative team efficiency and case turnover.
