Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program is required.
• Certification in Surgical Technology is required.
• Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• 2+ years of Surgical Technologist experience preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist at HCA Healthcare, you’ll be a valued part of a highly collaborative team that is passionate about delivering newborns safely and with the highest standards of care, while honoring each professional’s skills and expertise in obstetrics and surgery. You’ll prepare the surgical suite, support the team during procedures, and ensure every patient receives compassionate care. What you will do in this role:

• Plans for and scrubs assigned surgical procedures in accordance with AORN, AST, quality, regulatory, and company standards.
• Participates in on-call rotation based on the need of the department.
• Operates the sterilizer and other patient care equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions after proper training.
• Promotes hospital processes and goals, and communicates issues, whether actual or potential, to appropriate person in the chain of command.
• Takes initiative in performing other duties, whether assigned or not, such as assisting with updating surgeon preference cards, pulling case carts, stocking rooms, turning-over the OR, and assisting with scheduled supply inventory.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology for Surgical Technologist role is required.
• Certification in Surgical Technology.
• Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• 2 or more years of Surgical Technologist experience is Preferred
