HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast in Pasadena, TX, seeks a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist for the Night Shift to support obstetric procedures and newborn care. You will prepare the surgical suite, assist the team during procedures, and ensure compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program is required.
• Certification in Surgical Technology is required.
• Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• 2+ years of Surgical Technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans for and scrubs assigned surgical procedures per standards.
• Participates in on-call rotation according to department needs.
• Operates sterilizer and equipment after proper training.
• Promotes hospital processes and communicates issues up the chain.
• Updates surgeon preference cards, pulls case carts, stocks rooms, turns over the OR.
• Aims for high quality performance and improvements.
• Sets personal goals to advance career-related skills.
• Builds effective relationships and supports team morale.
• Demonstrates accountability in hospital resource use.
• Delivers high-quality service to patients per ICARE principles.
