Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Non-Certified Surgical Technologist to support operative procedures at our Fresno facility. The role involves scrubbing during surgeries, preparing instruments for processing, and assisting with post-procedure cleanup to ready the room for the next patient.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Surgical Technologist course, and OR experience. ASC experience and ORT certification are preferred, with military training in surgical tech also

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certification.
• Completion of Surgical Technologist course.
• Two years previous operating room experience.
• ASC experience preferred.
• ORT certification preferred.
• Training program for surgical technology in the armed forces or health services.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative room and prep of room for next patient.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
