Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Non-Certified Surgical Technologist to support our ambulatory centers. You will scrub during operative and invasive procedures and help prepare rooms and equipment for use.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Surgical Technologist course, and two years of operating room experience. ASC experience and ORT certification are preferred. USD 25.00–$43.00 per hour with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certification.
• Completion of Surgical Technologist course.
• Two years previous operating room experience.
• ASC experience preferred.
• ORT certification preferred.
• Successfully completed a training program for surgical technology in the armed forces of the United States, the National Guard or in the United States Public Health Services

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
