Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the scrub team. The role involves duties in the scrub role, partnering with licensed staff to provide patient care under the direction of a registered nurse, across varied age groups.

Strong critical thinking is expected and continuous contribution to patient outcomes is valued. Required education includes a GED or high school diploma, and graduation from a Surgical Technology program, plus certification as a Surgical

Qualificações

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program required.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required.
• 3 years of surgical tech experience required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire required.
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs necessary duties in scrub role.
• Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care demonstrating a higher level critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Functions in partnership with licensed staff.
• Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.
