Job summary

Piedmont Macon North is seeking a part-time Surgical Technologist to join the scrub team in our Georgia facility. The role supports patient care across age groups under the direction of a registered nurse, with responsibilities expanding as experience grows.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED and have completed a Surgical Technology program. Certified Surgical Technologists are preferred, and BCLS is required upon hire. This position is 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology program is required.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist or 3 years of surgical tech experience is required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support upon Hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs necessary duties in scrub role.
• Functions in partnership with licensed staff and supports patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program Required

Work Experience

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist Required or
• 3 years of surgical tech experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Preferred
