Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our scrub team. You will support patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and collaborate with licensed staff across age groups.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Surgical Technology program, and potential CST certification with BLS required. This is a full-time position with sign-on bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR:Performs necessary duties in scrub role. Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care demonstrating a higher level critical thinking and problem solving skills. Functions in partnership with licensed staff. Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:High School Diploma or GED.Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Certification as a Surgical Technologist or 3 years of surgical tech experience required
