Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program required.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required or preferred (CST).
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required upon hire; CST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs necessary duties in scrub role.
• Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care with higher level critical thinking and problem solving.
• Functions in partnership with licensed staff.
• Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.
