Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent preferred.
• Currently in an accredited surgical technician program or recent graduate pending CST certification.
• CST certification required within 90 days of CST Program completion date.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the operating room for surgery, including opening sterile packages and selecting equipment.
• Scrub for all types of surgeries and assist physicians by handing instruments and retractors.
• Assist in placing the patient on the OR table and ensure supplies are available.
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterile field throughout procedures.
• Provide safe handling and care for instruments and specimens per procedures.
• Collaborate with nursing, administration, and physicians to support patient care and efficiency.
