Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Currently in CST program or recent graduate.
• CST certification required within 90 days of CST program completion date.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; English literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing the operating room for surgery, including opening sterile packages and gathering equipment.
• Scrubs for surgeries and assists physicians by handing instruments and retractors.
• Assists with patient positioning and room setup; ensures supplies are available as needed.
• Maintains aseptic technique and sterile field; gowns/gloves; drapes the patient as required.
• Transports patients and collaborates with RN, physicians, and staff to ensure safety and efficiency.
