Job summary

United Surgical Partners International in Dallas, TX, is seeking a PRN Certified Surgical Technologist to support our surgical team. You will set up and maintain a sterile field for various surgical procedures, applying your knowledge of asepsis and specialized instruments.

The ideal candidate will hold a CST certification and have prior operating room experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans, as well as educational assistance and other perks.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of previous Operating Room CST experience is required.
• CST certification is required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of Total Joint, Complex Spine, and Arthroscopy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain a sterile field for surgeries.
• Apply knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Organize instruments for easy access.
• Participate in a rotational call system.
• Re-stack Operating Room supplies as needed.
• Assist the circulating nurse with preference cards.
