Job summary

Consumer Directed Services Inc. seeks a Surgical Technician to assist in the operating room under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician.

You will prepare for procedures, arrange instruments and supplies, ensure equipment works, and maintain a sterile field to support patient safety and care. Requirements include a Surgical Technician program completion, NBSTSA or NCT certification, and BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program.
• Certification by NBSTSA or NCT.
• Preferred 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technician.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for procedures by arranging instruments and supplies.
• Ensure equipment functionality and maintain sterile environment.
• Label and dispatch solutions and participate in specimen management.
• Attend meetings and follow work schedules; perform other duties to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
