Job summary

DCH Health System is seeking a Surgical Tech to assist in the procedural suite under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will set up and break down cases, maintain aseptic technique, and support optimal patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires reading, writing and speaking English, a high school diploma or equivalent (or CST/CS certification), and BLS. You will contribute to safety, teamwork, and ongoing competency in the surgical team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or CST certification or hospital-approved Surgical Tech course.
• AHA BLS Provider training required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with nursing care in procedural suite under RN supervision.
• Set up and clean up after each case.
• Maintain aseptic practices and follow procedures.
• Assist with scheduled and unscheduled procedures.
• Participate in committees and teams.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness.
