Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to assist physicians during surgical procedures as part of the operating room team. The role requires scrub duties, patient safety, and collaboration with RNs and surgeons at South Bay Medical Center in Harbor City, CA.

Two years of OR scrubbing experience is preferred, with a military equivalent accepted. Valid BLS and compliance with Kaiser policies are required.

Qualificações

• Two (2) years within the last three years operating room scrubbing or equivalent military experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assists the physician during surgical procedures by performing scrub duties.
• Keeps a safe environment by applying standard precautions.
• Transports patients, equipment, and supplies as required with proper body mechanics.
• Assists with room setup and instrument handling to support surgical workflow.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to policies and procedures.

Formação académica

Graduate of approved surgical technologist or military equivalent program
