Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to perform scrub duties and support licensed staff in delivering patient care under RN supervision. The role emphasizes critical thinking and problem solving across age groups.

The position requires a Surgical Technology program graduate or equivalent, HS diploma/GED, BCLS certification, and may prefer CST certification. Competitive sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required and
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program required.
• Certification as Surgical Technologist required or 3 years of surgical tech experience required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support upon hire required.
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs necessary duties in scrub role with higher level critical thinking and problem solving.
• Functions in partnership with licensed staff and RN.
• Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.
