Job summary

Piedmont Mountainside Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to perform scrub duties and assist in patient care under RN supervision. Responsibilities include assisting licensed staff and working with diverse age groups in a fast-paced environment.

Education includes a high school diploma or GED and completion of a Surgical Technology program. BCLS is required; CST is preferred, with weekend schedule and on-call as described.

Schedule: 6:45am-5:15pm Every Saturday-Sunday; 2 Additional Weekdays (4 10-hour shifts); Call is Required

Responsibilities:

Performs necessary duties in scrub role. Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care demonstrating a higher level critical thinking and problem solving skills. Functions in partnership with licensed staff. Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.
