Job summary

Piedmont Macon North is seeking a Surgical Technologist to perform scrub duties and support patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. The role involves greater responsibility and collaboration with licensed staff across age groups.

Candidates should have a Surgical Technology program diploma, HS diploma, and BCLS certification; 3 years of experience is preferred. CST is optional but preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: GED or high school diploma; Surgical Technology program graduate.
• Licenses/Certifications: BCLS required; CST preferred.
• Work experience: 3 years surgical tech experience required; CST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs necessary duties in scrub role; provides patient care under RN direction.
• Demonstrates clinical thinking and problem solving in partnership with licensed staff.
