Texas Health Huguley seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. You will scrub, gown, glove, and pass instruments, while maintaining strict sterile technique and assisting with patient positioning and counts for each procedure.

Responsibilities include preparing dressings, setting up sterile fields, and assisting with terminal cleaning. Required CST certifications and a minimum of surgical tech experience ensure readiness for high‑quality patient care.

Formación

• Knowledge of sterile technique and instrument setup.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques.
• Ability to anticipate emergencies for the unit.
• Organize and conduct in-services on the unit.
• Proficiency in multiple surgical specialties is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Check supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Scrub, gown, and glove for procedures; set up sterile table.
• Assist circulator with counts before incision and closure.
• Gown and glove surgeon and assistants; assist in sterile field.
• Prepare dressings and sterilize instruments; assist with terminal cleaning.
