Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled Surgical Technician for a full-time day shift in Burleson, TX. You will scrub, gown, and glove for procedures, set up sterile tables with instruments and medications, and pass instruments to the surgeon while maintaining sterile technique.

Candidates should have knowledge of sterile technique, instrument setup, and the ability to respond to emergencies. 2+ years of OR experience and CST certifications are preferred; benefits begin on day one.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of sterile technique and instrument setup.
• Experience with sterilization methods and maintaining sterile fields.
• Ability to anticipate emergencies in the OR and support the team.

Responsibilities

• Check supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Scrub, gown, and glove for surgeries.
• Set up sterile table with instruments and meds for procedures.
• Count instruments with circulator before incision.
• Assist in draping and passing instruments during surgery.
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare instruments for sterilization.
• Handle surgical specimens with accuracy.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and support team.
