Job summary

Lovelace Health System is seeking a day-shift, full-time Surgical Technician in Albuquerque, NM. The role includes assisting surgeons in the operating room, handling sterile instruments, and ensuring patient safety under RN supervision. Eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Prior OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or clinical-based program.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, sterile technique, medical terminology, instrumentation, and medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assists surgeons with surgical procedures in the operating room under RN supervision, conveying sterile instruments and supplies.
• Maintains compliance with policies, procedures, and safety regulations to protect patients.
