Job summary

St Mary Medical Center, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Surgical Technician / Operating (OR) Tech to join Surgical Services. The position is part-time day shift and supports patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or other healthcare professional, with in-house certifications or licensing as required.

Qualifications include current enrollment in high school or a GED and applicable specialty certification or training per state requirements.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in high school, completing a GED, or obtained a high school diploma or GED.
• Specialty license, certification, training, or experience according to assignment area in the applicable state(s) of engagement.

Responsibilities

• Part Time Days shift and $5K sign-on bonus.
• Certification required.
• Participates in direct one-to-one patient observation to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Engages in therapeutic communication and assists nurses and health care professionals with detailed records and clear communication within the care team and with families.
• May serve as a resource (lead), role model or mentor.
