Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Applies sterile technique and aseptic practices.
• Scrubs and passes instrumentation to surgeon.
• Assists in transfer and positioning of patients.
• Prepares room with circulated nurse and organizes supplies.
• Maintains sterile field continuously and ensures equipment is functioning.
• Responds to emergencies to prioritize patient needs and protect rights.
• Demonstrates proper use of sterilizers and maintains safety.
