Job summary

Trinity Health St. Mary Medical Center, located in Bucks County, requires an OR Tech to assist in providing nursing care under RN supervision.

This part-time day-shift role includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment and duties spanning direct patient observation, therapeutic communication, and care documentation. Certification or specialized training is required, with opportunities to mentor others and serve as a resource within Surgical Services.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in high school, completing a GED, or obtained a high school diploma or GED.
• Specialty license, certification, training, or experience according to assignment area in the applicable state(s) of engagement.

Responsibilities

• Direct one-to-one patient observation to maintain a safe & therapeutic environment.
• Engages in therapeutic communication and assists nurses & designated health care professional in keeping detailed records, maintaining clear communication between the entire care team & working with patients & families.
• May serve as a resource (lead), role model & / or mentor.
