Job summary

Success Education Colleges (SEC) is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for Glendale Career College in Glendale, CA. You will oversee clinical experiences for Surgical Technology and Central Service Technician programs, assigning students to affiliate facilities once cleared for rotations.

The role requires ensuring documentation accuracy, coordinating instructor hours, and maintaining compliance with accreditation standards. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Surgical Technology programs and affiliate site requirements.
• Ability to work with students, staff, faculty and external partners professionally.
• Excellent communication, organization and integrity in handling documents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure students perform at appropriate academic levels and follow policy.
• Arrange instructor hours with healthcare facilities based on student numbers.
• Assign and schedule students for clinical and externship experiences.
• Allocate students according to facility needs and advisement packets.
• Maintain clinical/externship documentation for accreditation and retention.
• Prepare and sign off on operating room and central service documents.
• Conduct orientation for students beginning clinical experiences.
• Instruct students on clinical documentation organization and care.
• Communicate attendance rules and HIPAA/PHI compliance; document results.
• Assist Program Director in orienting instructors and staff; substitute as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Credential in Surgical Technology NBSTSA accredited

OR experience or teaching 3+ years

AA degree in ST preferred
