Job summary

Glendale Career College is seeking an Adjunct Surgical Technology Lab Instructor for evenings to supervise and coach students in hands-on lab work. You will deliver demonstrations of instrumentation, sterile technique and OR readiness, aligning with program goals.

The role requires an AS/AA in Surgical Technology, NBSTSA CST credential, and prior teaching or mentoring experience to support student learning and competency development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Surgical Technology (AS/AA) or equivalent required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential through NBSTSA required.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Surgical Technology laboratory courses and align with program objectives.
• Provide hands-on instruction in instrumentation, sterile technique, and OR readiness.
• Prepare and evaluate exams, track student progress, and provide feedback.
• Maintain a safe, organized lab and collaborate with the Program Director.
